Did you know you have three options for returning your voted ballot? #1 by MAIL, #2 HAND DELIVER to the Auditor’s Office (or voting room in the Courthouse basement), or #3 drop in the secure DROP BOX by the garage in the Courthouse parking lot.


Jones County voters are able to vote absentee by mail for the November 3 Election. Three options are available below to request an absentee ballot.
  1. Download, print, and complete the absentee ballot request form and mail it to the Jones County Auditor, Rm. 113, 500 W. Main St., Anamosa, IA 52205.
  2. Call the Auditor's Office at (319) 462-2282 to receive an absentee ballot request form in the mail.
  3. Enter your mailing address into the form below to receive an absentee ballot request form in the mail.

Absentee requests to vote by mail must be received in the Auditor's Office by 5 p.m. October 24.
